Well it's probably just because that the friends girls have grown up themselves now and is persuining their very own dreams, so i guess it's for new gen of the friends.

Also just an side note or don't know if anyone wanted to know about this too as well, I'm not really physically sure of myself whether if anyone knows about this or not, just for the rather the fact since ever the GOAM series reboot happened way back in 2018, one of my friend that were in the wiki tells me it's literally because of the new Ceo manager, lego fired the old ones, the one with the original creator that creates original lego friends character and replaced with an new one, sorry but no goam because that's the second reboot to the installments of the series.

New CEOs often feel the need to make their presence known by doing a major shakedown of the organisation.

And the first rule of that procedure is, fire someone so the employees know the CEO is tough.

Also, in my recent experience, new CEOs have hidden agendas which requires remaking the company to suit their personal ideals, the prior iterations of Lego Friends were not compatible with those opinions, so they had to be removed to replace them with new characters that are.
