Ch 2
"So you've talked to her, about buisness though?" Kacey asked. She constantly checked her phone in case the girls were wondering where she was. Carter nodded. "I have. She asked me a question about the stats yesterday." he sighed. Then he sat down. Kacey looked into his eyes which were kind of glassy. "I can't imagine not being with the one you love." Kacey said. Carter smiled at her. "Oh. I am. I'm with you." But his smile quickly faded. "I know what you mean. She just doesn't feel the same anymore." He said. Kacey frowned. "Well, when was the last time you talked to her?" Carter looked up confused. "I told you. Yesterday." Kacey laughed. "I meant like on that topic." Carter sighed. "Not for a long time." Kacey thought. There wasn't any tension or help needed in HLC for her and the girls to do. But what if now there was? She could ask the girls. That is what she planned to do.
Kacey arrived back at the Friendship House and all the lights were on. Olivia must be in the garage, Mia in the top room, Stephanie playing basketball and Emma and Andrea making art together. She walked in and that was exactly what wasn't happening. Emma and Stephanie were in the kitchen making pizza while Mia and Andrea ate breadsticks. Olivia was the only one in her workshop. "Hey! Kacey! Perfect timing! The pizza is almost ready." She smiled and scooped some cheese into her mouth. Kacey smiled. She loved seeing her friends. They were like family that understood her.
Everyone sat down at the table to eat. and Kacey felt like it was the good time to tell them. "Hey. Guys. Can I talk to you about something?" The girls looked up. "Of course. What are we here for?" Andrea asked. Kacey smiled, and Emma replied. "We are here to make pizza!" And she presented the pizza on the table. The girls each took a slice. "So, what's up?" Asked Stephanie. She was still wearing her chef hat. Kacey swallowed. "Well, I will start open. I figured out who my parents are." The girls squealed. "Who are they?" asked Mia. Kacey frowned. "My parents are Carter and Dr Alvah." Olivia choked on her pizza. "No way." Andrea said. The girls were in shock except for Mia. She sat there with her arms over the chair. "Meh. I figured. You look a lot like them." The girls faced her. "How would you guess that?" Emma asked. Mia shrugged. But Kacey wasn't done. "I need all of you to help me with a little project." The girls sat up. "Carter said today that he really misses her and he still has feelings for her. The thing is, they live in two seperate houses, on opposite sides of town. That's why I had to constantly leave. But, they need to be together again. Could you help me?" She reached out her hand. The girls squealed. "Of course! We are your friends! It's our duty to help each other!" Emma said. Olivia cleared her throat. "There is something that has to be explained. You swore to us that you would never lie to us again, and here you are telling us that you lied to us. I forgive you, I'm just confused." Kacey sighed. "I know. I swore that I would never lie, And I'm so sorry. I just, I didn't know how you would react once I told you. Honestly, I thought you would leave me and go to hang with Vicky once I told you." The girls laughed. Then Emma said, "well, Let's get started tomorrow!"

Kacey was so happy. Soon she would be sitting with her parents in a new house, and have a newly built family. All of her thoughts got interupted when she spotted the girl from the train. This time she was with her friends. And one of them was Vicky. This would be interesting. Vicky had left the group from the girls a long time ago. She told them she didn't want to be a part of a group who sticks there nose into other's people's buisness trying to be superheroes. Even though that was never their intention. She took a careful deep breath and walked over. The first one to spot her was Adrianna. "What are you doing here Kacey?" Vicky looked over at Kacey. "How do you know Kacey Adri?" Vicky asked. Adrianna sighed. "I met her on the train yesterday. She was talking to me like a weirdo." Kacey gulped. She dreaded this conversation. "What are you doing in HLC?" Kacey asked. Adrianna whipped her hair around and looked at her. Her bright green eyes glaring in the sun. "What am I doing here? I live here temporarily. With my father *Gabriel Agreste." Kacey sighed. "Sorry. I should probably go." Vicky laughed and so did Adrianna. But one of the friends caught up with Kacey. "Hey. I'm Charlotte. Sorry they are being so mean, it's just that Adrianna is kind of going through a lot right now. Her father announced that he has a little sister of some sort. So she is kind of mad right now," Charlotte patted Kacey on the shoulder. "Yeah, But she has no idea what's wrong with me, and she was still mean to me." Kacey frowned. But Charlotte smiled. "What? Of course we know. It's everywhere." Kacey looked back up at Charlotte. "What do you mean it's everywhere?" Charlotte smiled. "The thing with your parents? Yeah. Everyone is reading an article about it. I thought you knew." Kacey was shocked. Who would do this to her?
The next day, the girls started their plan. They gathered in the park to phase out their plan. "So. All we have to do is make a set of plans." Kacey said. They were sitting by a tree and had a picnic blanket underneath them. Emma relaxed next to Andrea. "We could set them up on a blind date." Andrea patted her head. Kacey didn't even hear what Emma said. She was working with Stephanie on the phases. Then she looked up. "Wait. What was that Emma?" She asked. Emma looked at Kacey. "What was what? All I said was maybe we could set them up on a blind date. I see it on all of those romantic TV shows." Kacey jumped up. "That's it! First phase! Set them up! Emma with your quick thinking we can get this done!" Emma smiled. Mia frowned. "But how do we get them to the destination?" Kacey smiled. "With the old power of mailing something."
The girls spent the rest of the day at Emma's. Emma had all of the printing supplies for making invitations. When they were finished. Kacey took one last look at the final copy and mailed them.
Ch 3
Kacey arrived at Carter's mansion the day before the plan. She knew that Carter liked it better when she stayed at his house then Dr Alvah's. Once Kacey finished her extra work, she looked up at Carter. "Um, Do you know about the whole news going around?" She asked him. Carter looked at her. "What do you mean? Oh! You mean the news that they invented pizza flavored cupcakes?" Kacey laughed but shook her head. "No. I mean, the fact that our buisness is all over the streets." When Kacey said that, the water stopped running from the faucet where Carter was standing. He leaned over the counter facing her. "I know. I've been in my office all day yesterday reading news articles. It's been bugging me. Mal-er you mom said the same thing. I called her yesterday and she was widely upset. At first she was blaming you." Kacey was shocked. "What? Why me? Doesn't she trust me?" Carter shook his head. "Probably not with this." Kacey smiled. "I also ran into someone yesterday. This girl. She told me that her father was Gabriel Agreste. I've heard his name somewhere. I just can't place it." Carter choked on his water when she mentioned the name. "I-um, who did you speak to yesterday?" He asked. "His daughter. Adrianna Agreste. Her friend was the one who told me the news." Carter sighed deeply and brought her into his office. "Adrianna. Adrianna. She used to be one of my helpers for my city. Before I decided I would choose you. She was my top pic. She told me she had a passion for being sneaky and into finding out everyone's secrets." Kacey nodded. "That is quite interesting actually. She hangs out with Vicky who said the same thing about my friend's and that's why she doesn't want to get involved with them anymore." Carter shrugged. "Most likely, she probably lies her way through things. Her father is definetly the lying type." Kacey looked up at Carter. "You know her father?" Carter nodded, and closed the door in the room. "Yes. He was very close with Mal-er your mom. They had some sort of special working experience. I had thought he was the one who would have told everyone, but according to your mother, he is very private. I hope he is not the one that she is interested because he is way older than her. Anyway. I have to go meet a client somewhere. Stay here and I'll be back in an hour." He kissed the top of her head.
Once he left, Kacey thought something that didn't seem real. What if her parents were lying?

Okay. That is it for today's fanfiction. If you noticed that I put a * next to Gabriel Agreste, that means that he is part of another fandom, the Miraculous Ladybug fandom.
