Emma is part of the LEGO Friends franchise. She is one of the five main characters of the franchise.

Emma is buzzing with creativity, from fashion and interior design, to knitting and jewellery-making. She is not afraid to make bold fashion choices and loves to help others feel good about themselves, even her pets!

Emma works hard in her design studio. First she sketches her ideas, then she photographs them. Finally, she cuts and sews pieces of fabric to bring her designs to life.

Emma's newest hobby is photography. She finds nature inspiring - whether it's a close-up leaf, a detailed sand pattern or a silky spider's web.

Background

Emma is the beautician and fashion guru of the group. Emma has four best friends Andrea, Mia, Olivia and Stephanie, She is also friends with Andrew, Christina, Chloe, Ella, Katharina, Natasha, Livi, Naomi, Sarah and Maya. Emma has a horse called Robin, a dog called Lady and a cat called Jewel. In 2017 she has a sand blue cat named Chico.

Emma is a very stylish and trendy girl who loves style. Her interests include fashion design, making jewelry, crafts, interior decorating, remodeling, and English horseback jumping. Emma also likes yoga, giving makeovers, martial arts, photography, and making origami animals. She is a black belt in karate. She drives four different cars so far, which may suggest her interest in automobiles. Emma enjoys shopping and often goes shopping with her friends in Main Street and the mall. Emma would never leave home in clothes and accessories that don’t match.

Emma's personality is kind, curious, complementary, and very fashionable, yet sometimes forgetful and unable to speak up for herself. Her main signature color is purple, but is seen wearing shades of pink as well. When Emma is older she wants to be a designer. Her motto is “That’s SO you!”.

Emma is a fair-skinned young girl with emerald-green eyes instead of brown and shoulder-length messy black hair that curls at the bottom

Emma wears a lavender fit tank top with white flower patterns and hot-pink flowers in the center and navy blue skirt with ruffles and lilac ballet shoes.

Fun Facts

It is quite possible that Emma was named after a Scala character of the same name. Scala was a predecessor to Friends, however, the theme ended in 2001.
Emma's middle name is Louise.
Joy's nickname for Emma is 'Butterfly'.
According to a LEGO Club magazine Emma's favourite style of dance is free/hip hop.
According to a LEGO Club magazine Emma would like to be a photographer when she grows up.
Emma's hair piece is also used by Chloe.
Three characters, besides Emma herself, use Emma's head piece: Christina, Isabella and Iva.
In the LEGO Disney Princess theme Rapunzel and Alana, Ariel's sister, use Emma's head piece, although Rapunzel only used it in 2014.
