Friendship House is the second episode of the LEGO Friends: Girls on a Mission (reboot) series.

Synopsis[]

When Emma's mural gets spray painted, the girls go after the culprit and find an abandoned firehouse.

Plot (Spoilers)[]

The girls and Zobo are chasing Prankzy across town after he tagged Emma’s mural. Zobo goes drone mode so Olivia can observe the graffiti artist from the skies. This comes in handy when, after they chase him into town square, he seemingly disappears, and Olivia sees where he went via Zobo.

Prankzy drives into the garage of an old firehouse, and the girls park up outside it. Stephanie shouts at him through a loudspeaker to surrender. When there is no response, they sneak inside, only to find they'd lost him again. They all note that the place is amazing for their specific talents and hobbies. They decide that the place will be their clubhouse - the Friendship House.

They mostly manage to clean up and fix up the old firehouse in a day - including Zobo and Stephanie cleaning the floors, Andrea and Olivia moving out the firetruck and uncovering it, carrying boxes in and out and painting the walls. Emma protects some of the graffiti from being painted over.

Emma approaches Ethan and another student cleaning her galaxy mural, but Emma says she kind of likes the graffiti as it looks like stardust. Ethan passionately defends her art and says that it was defaced by a talentless individual, to which she is surprised. She notices that Ethan’s shoes have the same shade of paint as her mural. He gets nervous and stammers that they just came like that. Emma is then inspired to paint a mural of the five friends on their clubhouse.

Prankzy spray paints on the mural. The girls see it the next morning. All of them are frustrated and angry, but Emma defends him again - to her, it’s actually pretty funny. The other girls decide to plot a trap for the graffiti artist, getting Emma to paint a second mural. Emma exhibits obvious restraint to be involved in the plan. They act out the plan - when Prankzy begins to spray paint, Olivia will press the remote, triggering Zobo to release the Zobo-Bola, Mia then blasts him with the fire hose, and Andrea throws the net over him - but when Stephanie pretends to be Prankzy, they actually spray and throw the net over her. She’s a little annoyed, but pulls all the friends down with her and they laugh, Mia continuing to spray them all with water.

Prankzy rides down the road to the firehouse on his motorbike. Emma stands with her arms out, the lights on his motorbike illuminating her. He revs his motorbike, trying to get her to move out of the way, but she doesn’t budge. She warns him of the trap, and he asks why she helps him in a distorted voice, to which she responds that artists must stick together, and then runs off into the bushes.

The next morning, the friends all wake up outside the firehouse, sore, exhausted and disappointed that their plan failed. They decide to go get breakfast, and Emma sees her mural with a yellow heart graffitied above her head by Prankzy. She decides that this is a happy ending.

Fun Facts[]

  • When the girls ride into the park several fabric banners can be seen for a Jeremy Door concert.
  • The team mural Emma paints on the side of the Friendship house is the exact same image from their superhuman montage in the first episode.
