Parallel to Zac's romantic misadventures, Paisley grapples with the pressures of her secret identity as Ley-La. As Ley-La, she helps the citizens of Heartlake City, but her friend Olly's growing obsession creates a burden for Paisley.
Olly's admiration, while seemingly positive, pushes Paisley further into maintaining the "Ley-La" persona, making her feel trapped and inauthentic. She struggles deeply with the conflict between who she truly is and the celebrated image of "Ley-La". It's also revealed that Aliya and Liann already know Paisley is Ley-La.
The weight of her secret becomes almost unbearable, leading Paisley to actively avoid Olly as she grapples with revealing the truth. She fears exposing her secret might jeopardize their friendship or diminish Olly's respect. Photos of Paisley and Olly are seen in their treehouse, highlighting their bond.
