Sherlock is Joey's pet chihuahua.
He's often excitable and accident prone.
Joey apparently has a custom made wardrobe for his pet, as Sherlock is seen in one episode wearing a wetsuit (much to Emma's amusement) and a burglar costume in another episode.
Sherlock apparently has the optical disorder strabismus, since his eyes rarely focus together when he's looking at someone or something.
